Celebrating social and emotional day

On Friday 28th February 2025 we presented at The European Network for Social and Emotional Competence’s (ENSEC) webinar to celebrate international social and emotional learning day.
The webinar ‘Enhancing social and emotional well-being in children and teachers’ was an opportunity to hear about the latest research findings on social and emotional wellbeing and resilience.
Alongside Dr. Gemma Unwin from The University of Birmingham, our session focused on improving emotional literacy and wellbeing in children with learning disabilities. We shared results from a recent randomised controlled feasibility trial of Partnership for Children’s Zippy’s Friends for SEND programme, funded by The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) and conducted by researchers at the University of Birmingham.
