Jayne Carter, Programme Development Lead from Partnership for Children, explored how the Lundy Model of child participation supports children to feel empowered to be part of their own learning experience.
The Lundy Model offers a framework for pupil participation which recognises and celebrates the importance of including children's voices in the decision making process.
Attendees were introduced to the Lundy Model, explored different ways to implement this and considered its use in supporting children/young people's social and emotional wellbeing.
