Run the programmes in your school
Zippy's Friends, Apple's Friends and Passport are not available to be bought ‘off the shelf’. Teacher training is a vital part and the Skills for Life programmes are therefore only provided to teachers who have attended an initial training course.
The training course covers the philosophy and theoretical basis of the Skills for Life programmes; the concept of coping and its implications for the well-being of children; how the programmes are structured; and the rationale behind the various activities. Teachers become familiar with each of the modules, and work through the various activities.
Once teachers have attended a training course, they can order printed or online materials from Partnership for Children to be able to deliver the programme to their class.
- We run training all over the UK and online via the Zoom platform. Book onto an upcoming training course or contact your nearest trainer to find out about local training and in-house courses
