Using our Skills for Life programmes as part of your school's Recovery Curriculum

As schools start to prepare for more children to return to the classroom, there is increasing concern about the impact the Covid-19 pandemic has had and continues to have on pupils mental wellbeing. Many schools are working to design a curriculum for pupils returning to school that focuses on holistic recovery rather than devoting all their focus to academic compensation as of course, pupils can only engage in learning once their social and emotional needs are being met.

Our Skills for Life social and emotional wellbeing programmes have been evaluated and shown to lead to an increase in many of the skills that children will need to recover from the effects of the pandemic. These include: increased coping skills, better social skills and increased emotional literacy.
