Trinidad and Tobago
Zippy’s Friends in Trinidad & Tobago is managed by the School Leadership Center, an association of current and former head teachers who are keen to promote excellence in local schools. Mental health promotion is in its infancy in these islands, and thirty-four teachers and heads attended the first training course, held in October 2011 in Port of Spain.
Zippy’s Friends will be run in thirteen primary schools in its first year, with a variety of locations and religious affiliations.
