Zippy’s Friends in Poland (Przyjaciele Zippiego) has grown strongly in its first three years, with the number of children enrolled in the programme climbing from 358 to 7,851.

Zippy’s Friends is run by the Centrum Metodyczne Psychologiczno-Pedagogicznej (CMPPP), an organisation attached to the Ministry for Education and Sports which advises the Ministry and provides training courses for trainers around the country. CMPPP specialises in primary prevention programmes, support for disabled and disadvantaged children, and promoting good learning environments.

Zippy’s Friends started in schools and kindergartens in Warsaw, and is now being spread throughout the country by the nationwide network of training centres.
