Peru is one of the five Latin American countries launching Zippy’s Friends in 2012.
Kallpa, our partner organisation in Peru, works to promote “healthy communities” through different programmes; educational schemes for children and mothers about their physical or environmental health, working directly with the community, helping to improve difficult conditions in deprived areas; and working with the government, turning successful programmes into public policies.
Los Amigos de Zippy fits perfectly into Kallpa’s holistic approach and understanding of health, healthy individuals and healthy communities. The programme is supported by HSBC.
