Our Mexican partner is Lazos, an agency that works to improve the quality of children’s education, promote values in education and prevent truancy.
Los Amigos de Zippy started in seven schools in October 2010, and in a country of more than 110 million people, there is plenty of scope for it to grow. The first year tested the programme in Mexico State and Federal District and six other states – Baja California, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Nuevo Léon, Puebla and Yucatán. The programme is sponsored by HSBC.
