Zippy's Friends is run in Chile by CreArte, a small but very committed agency that delivers art workshops to children in schools.
With the help of artists and volunteers, CreArte carries out fun, creative art sessions aimed at developing children’s self esteem, creativity and the ability to express themselves, in order to increase their resilience. They work largely in deprived areas of Santiago.
Los Amigos de Zippy complements this work, and they are hoping to expand the programme across the country.
Chile is another country supported by HSBC in Latin America launching the programme in 2012.
