Two of the world’s leading companies – GlaxoSmithKline and HSBC – have supported our work.
GlaxoSmithKline paid the research and development costs of Zippy’s Friends for many years, as part of its commitment to help people to ‘do more, feel better and live longer.’ The results of this visionary and generous support can be seen in the large numbers of children who are now benefiting from the programme around the world.
HSBC has provided support on three continents. In Asia, The Hongkong Bank Foundation supported the launch of Zippy’s Friends in Hong Kong and Mainland China. In Latin America, HSBC supported Amigos do Zippy in Brazil and has sponsored the programme's expansion across Spanish speaking countries, including Argentina, Mexico and Panama. In Europe HSBC Education Trust sponsored the development of this website.
We have also been building links with local businesses in Kingston. We received pro-bono support from the John Lewis Partnership, a donation from las Iguanas and The Entertainer, as part of their Christmas Present Fund 2016 and were chosen to run a fundraising collection by Aldi on the opening day of their new Kingston store.
In April 2017, Wesleyan selected Partnership for Children to be its chosen charity partner. Wesleyan is a nationwide mutual financial services provider working with doctors, dentists, teachers and lawyers. Wesleyan has a long history of corporate social responsibility and during the two year partnership they will be providing both financial support through an extensive programme of employee fundraising events and pro-bono advice to support our work with schools in the UK. Information about their fundraising campaign is on Just Giving.
We are very grateful to all our corporate supporters, and look forward to working with more companies that are concerned about the wellbeing of children.
