Trusts and Foundations
A number of charitable trusts and foundations support our work, and it is hard to imagine how we could survive without their generosity.
The Dulverton Trust, based in London, supported a workshop for UK teachers and the production of new resources for teachers and parents.
The Mercers' Company sponsors the provision of online information and resources for teachers and parents of young children.
The Specialist Schools and Academies Trust contributed towards the work we are doing with Sunfield School to adapt Zippy’s Friends for children with severe and complex learning difficulties.
The Funding Network and Education 4 Peace both contributed to the costs of launching Zippy's Friends in India.
The Eranda Foundation is supporting Zippy’s Friends in England, and St Faith’s Trust paid for the programme’s launch in North West Surrey. The Equitable Charitable Trust paid for the revision and reprinting of teaching materials.
Network for Social Change paid for a Parents' Guide and partly-sponsored our first international training workshop. The Marden Foundation, which is based in Hong Kong, paid for the production of DVDs and videos, to promote Zippy’s Friends and help with teacher training.
The Todd Ouida Children’s Foundation helped to bring Zippy’s Friends to the United States, not only by giving financial support but also by publicising the programme and promoting it to schools.
We are particularly grateful to those trusts and foundations who have given unrestricted donations, allowing us to use funds wherever they are most needed. These include The Artemis Charitable Trust, The Fung Yiu King Charitable Foundation, The Joffe Charitable Trust, The Mackintosh Foundation, The Marmot Trust, The Prairie Trust, The Arthur Samy Memorial Trust and others that prefer their support to remain anonymous.
