Hayley Long overcame her worst fears by jumping out of a plane.

"It was so scary! I didn't really believe I'd do it until the plane got to 9,000 feet - and then I realised I have to! But it was a brilliant experience, especially the freefall - even thought I had my eyes closed most of the time."









Partnership for Children Director Chris Bale ran a first half-marathon in his 50th year.

"It was going well until about a mile from the finish. Then, with legs getting tired and blisters bubbling nicely, they made us run down a cobbled street. That was cruel! But family and friends were glad they didn't have to do it and were very generous with their sponsorship."










Hayley Cooke made a donation to celebrate the first birthday of a friend's child - and we sent baby Jessica a Zippy birthday card.

"One-year-olds really don't need to be showered with presents, and so I thought it would be better to give a donation that would help lots of children. Jessica's parents were thrilled and she loved the colourful Zippy card!"
