Our Review of 2010-2011 reports on what we have achieved in the past year and explains what we are working on now.
Highlights of 2010 included enrolling more than 112,000 children in Zippy’s Friends, and launching the programme in three more countries in Latin America – Argentina, Mexico and Panama. The National University of Ireland, Galway, conducted a major evaluation and showed that ‘the programme significantly improved the emotional literacy and coping skills of the children.’
Financial performance was satisfactory and costs were tightly controlled. Total expenditure in 2010 was equivalent to just £2.36 for each child who completed Zippy’s Friends.
