Annual Review 2009-2010

Our Review of 2009 – 2010 reports on what we have achieved in the past year and explains what we are working on now.

Highlights of 2009 included enrolling more than 100,000 children in Zippy’s Friends, and celebrating the programme’s tenth anniversary in Lithuania.  Balancing the books in a tough year was a notable achievement.  Indeed, total expenditure in 2009 was equivalent to just £2.14 for each child who completed Zippy’s Friends, our lowest ever figure.

The cost of producing and distributing the Review has been generously donated by the family and friends of Howard Mak, who tragically died in late 2009, aged just 22.  Howard was very enthusiastic about our work and had been planning to work with us as a volunteer.
