Annual Review 2008-2009

Our Review of 2008 - 2009 reports on some past successes and outlines our goals and challenges for the future.

Successes include: the international expansion of Zippy's Friends, with 40% more children helped in 2008; publication of Good Books for Tough Times; our second international workshop for Zippy's Friends co-ordinators; and controlling costs so tightly that we spent less in 2008 than we did in our first year, 2002.

Challenges include: adapting Zippy's Friends for children with special needs; helping young children to cope when a family member goes missing; developing resources to help children who are worried by disasters; and, toughest of all, raising money during a major recession.
